The existing SPRR was built years ago. It can’t handle today’s heavy traffic anymore—especially with more housing projects, metros, and offices spreading outside the city.

Ahmedabad is India’s official bidder to host the 2036 Olympics.
To succeed, the city must show:
- Fast and modern transportation
- Global level infrastructure
- Sustainable city growth
The 3 Third Ring Road will:
- Connect Olympic venues, hotels, and the airport
- Help control traffic and pollution
- Support long term, planned development
3. All Government Departments Are Aligned

The Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA), Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), and the Urban Development Department (UDD) are all working together .
